10 Ambitious Craft Tutorials For Mother’s Day That Are Actually Super Easy

Mothers Day Craft TutorialI know, you might be thinking “Who wants to deal with the hassle of crafts on Mother’s Day? Where’s my breakfast in bed, dammit?!” But for the last five years my kids and I have made a tradition out of doing Mother’s Day crafts and it’s become something I look forward to. As I’ve said time and time again, I am not a huge fan of doing crafts. I’m not particularly artistic and I feel kind of juvenile playing with paste and construction paper (even if I’m doing it with my kids). That being said, I do have a soft spot when it comes to strange or ambitious (looking) craft projects. As cheesy as I think it can be, there is something so satisfying about attempting a daunting craft (whether you’re doing it with your kids or not) and totally pulling it off.

The beauty of most craft tutorials ( at least the ones you find on Pinterest and YouTube) is that they’re almost always easier to do than they look. The most annoying part is usually the mess they create, but that’s nothing that a few newspapers or an old shower curtain can’t fix.

In the spirit of Mother’s Day, here are 10 ambitious looking YouTube tutorials (at least if you’re a crafting noob like me) that are actually pretty easy to complete. I’ve tried them all (or similar projects) and they are slacker mom approved!
