I kept reading #6 as a toothbrush speaker… I need to get my eyes checked. And I am totally looking into #8!

It’s so great – it really is.

    • NicknamesAreDull

I got my husband some stuff from The Art of Shaving.

      • http://twitter.com/mariaguido Maria Guido

I came so close to adding that!

      • NicknamesAreDull

It smells so good. My husband shaves with a straight razor, so it’s right up his little faux hipster alley.

    • Kay_Sue

If anyone’s getting those Bruce Lee action figures, it’s me–those things look badass.

Anybody else have a husband who buys whatever they want and leave you with absolutely no reasonable gifting options? I hate that. We have this same argument every year–why?! Why would you buy that TV show that you want THREE WEEKS before Christmas?!!!!

I apologize for the caps and exclamation points, but he’s driving me nuts with this.

      • FormerlyKnownAsWendy

Mine always does that, and then when I ask what I can get him he’s like, “Meh, I don’t really want anything.” We played that game for like 5 years. Now we seriously just don’t buy each other anything anymore. We will exchange favorite snacks sometimes, but that’s it. I can’t tell you the last time I actually bought him a real present because whatever he wants he just orders. If I try to buy it, it’s not the right thing, and he’ll take it back. It’s MADDENING! Totally agree.

      • Kay_Sue

I know. He came home with a TV show the other day. “What’s that?” I asked. “That show we wanted. I was in Wal Mart to get (whatever menial item I asked for him to pick up on his way home) and I saw it, so I grabbed it.”

Dammit, man. Christmas is *literally* less than three weeks away.

      • FormerlyKnownAsWendy

Ugh. That gave me the angry feeling I get in the pit of my stomach that I get every time he does this to me. I wish I knew the cure, because I’d totally help you out with it. But, I’ve got nothing….

      • FormerlyKnownAsWendy

I guess we could go passive aggressive on this and go buy a bunch of stuff we want and be like, “Look what I bought!” Mine would not care, but maybe it’s not to late to save your husband.

      • http://twitter.com/mariaguido Maria Guido

Aren’t they awesome? I bought some.

      • geckomommy

Yes! And right when I think I’ve finally found something he couldn’t even have possibly known about that I am so SURE he’d love, he mentions it like, “So this thing got released, meh, I saw it on Reddit and it was on Kickstarter like a year ago and the reviews on Gizmodo aren’t that great…” O_o

      • Kay_Sue

        We can’t win for losing.

    • Bethany Ramos

This is very eerie because my husband just started collecting vinyl AND loves drunk puzzling. Something for everyone!

    • Edify

I was thinking of buying mine a vasectomy. But I’m just a crazy romantic like that.

      • Kay_Sue

That’s the gift that keeps on giving.

Or cumming, depending on whether your mind is as perverted as mine.

      • Edify

It could really represent a life time of love(ing)

      • Kay_Sue

        Also true! :)

      • FormerlyKnownAsWendy

That’s a great present for you both, and can be very cheap :)

    • CelesteF

So how about some gift ideas for men who aren’t hipsters?

      • cesp

Yeah, I was just wondering if I’m the only one whos husband isn’t a hipster. Nice to see I’m not alone.

      • http://twitter.com/mariaguido Maria Guido

NO!!! A 23-yr old who has never owned a boombox owning a boombox wallet is hipster. A 39 yr old who wants this wallet is nostalgic. haha

    • FF4life

He wants a mini bike… You know… The kind you see little kids riding. And a model car that runs on gas. And a ps4. Did I mention he’s turning 30?
