If you want your children to be in People magazine, I suggest going the now seemingly old-fashioned route of pimping them out via “Toddlers & Tiara’s” or any other reality show. Goodness knows that there is a rainbow of options for parents of virtually any parenting stripe. But now the tabloid is giving awful parents an even cleaner shortcut into getting their kids into the rags. Kid celebrity lookalikes!
If your kid could pass for paparazzi bait, then you’re in luck, according to the outlet:
Do people mistake your tot for Suri Cruise, Kingston Rossdale or Zahara Jolie-Pitt? If your little one is the spitting image of a celeb kid, send us your pics for a chance to appear on PEOPLE.com and in PEOPLE magazine. Be sure to note in the caption which mini A-lister your child resembles.
As if modern tweens aren’t already inundated with enough “famous for being famous” cultural cues. Now some 6-year-old can be delighted that she’s in People magazine just because she shares a resemblance with Suri Cruise. AWESOME TRACK.
But what really blows about this reader engagement scheme is that the kids don’t even need to want this kind of exposure. A parent who is just dying to get his or her Shiloh Jolie-Pitt on her way to stardom can simply start with the biggest Facebook newsfeed ever: tabloids.
