Sofia Vergara just hit the big 4-0 and she has plans to wed Nick Loeb. But in a true testament to our modern times, Sofia, who has 20-year-old son Manolo, is thinking about expanding her family with her new fiance. And for her, this means shopping around for that uber celebrity trendy surrogate.
“Well, because I froze my eggs. I had to go to my doctor’s office a hundred million times to do injections,” Sofia told Cosmopolitan when asked about the rumours. “The [rumour] probably came from that. My doctor had told me ‘We have a small window.’ I said, ‘That’s so rude!’”
“I already have a kid, so I never thought I would need to do that. But I will have to use a surrogate, because I had thyroid cancer and lots of radiation.”
Sofia didn’t offer up any timeline as to when the surrogate hunt will commence. At present, Sofia isn’t exactly gunning it for a second child because she is “working like an animal,” she says. With her eggs on ice, she’s clearly bought the time.
