casey-anthony-6-300-225x300Casey Anthony, found not guilty of killing her two-year-old daughter Caylee, is telling all of her friends that she is pregnant, according to both The National Enquirer and The Daily Mail. Say what you will about the salacious National Enquirer, they usually are pretty spot-on when it comes to breaking news stories. Usually of the type most of us never want to believe can be true. From The Daily Mail:

They allege that she is bragging to close friends that she is more than a month pregnant.

Her loose-fitting clothing at the March 4 court appearance gave nothing away about her condition, so the rumor mill is left to run rampant about the state of her would-be pregnancy.

‘Her eyes lit up when she told me that she was expecting, but she wouldn’t tell me who the baby’s father is,’ the source told The Enquirer.

The baby daddy is said to be an “extremely wealthy” man who is supporting her and would do anything for casey because he is “obsessed with her.”

The supermarket tabloid also claims that there is a group of concerned citizens who have created a petition to force Casey to be sterilized, and should she have another baby, they will apparently argue that the child should be turned over to social services. Neither the name of the group- nor the names of any participants- were not listed in the article.

I am not sure how serious any court would take a petition to have someone sterilized, but maybe this group just wants to make it very clear that they don’t feel Casey Anthony would make a good parent. The last time I wrote about Casey, most of the comments were from people who felt that because she was found not guilty that she should be left alone to live her life how she wishes. And this was not over a baby, this was over the fact she was seen eating chicken wings in public.

Casey filed for bankruptcy in January claiming she had a lot of debt and only $1,000 to her name, and that she has been living off of donations and gift cards from her supporters. I’m not sure she is in any financial condition to bring a child into the world, but I guess if her partner is footing the bill she probably isn’t too concerned with affording Pampers. As to whether or not she is mentally or emotionally fit to be a mother, I’m sure most of you can guess my opinion on that. It includes the words “no” and “hell” and “way.”
