Anons To Protest In Weirton Today Because Anonymous Really Hates Baby Rapists

581598_1There are many facets and secs and divisions and groups within Anonymous but one thing that is usually agreed upon is that Anonymous really hates people who abuse children. And some Anons will be staging a vigil today in front of the Hancock County Courthouse in New Cumberland from 12 to three o-clock. The protest is said to be peaceful with attendees asked to bring a sign with a simple question mark written on them.

Tyler Graham, of Weirton, West Virginia, was released on a $50,000 bond on February 19th after being charged with one count of sexual abuse by a parent or person in trust of a child, which is a felony.  From The Weirton Daily Times.com:

Police said the child’s mother had taken her daughter to the pediatrician for help with what she thought was a case of diaper rash. The pediatrician, however, examined the child and referred her to a gynecologist.

The mother took her daughter to Weirton Medical Center, and personnel there notified police of the suspected sexual abuse.

The toddler had contracted a sexually transmitted disease and required surgery, authorities said.

The “alleged” two-year-old victim, and I really hate using the word alleged to describe a two-year-old, was under the care of the mother’s boyfriend when the abuse took place. I also hate using the word alleged in conjunction with this crime, because if a two-year-old baby has contracted an STD than something obviously took place that never, ever should have with this baby. As I’m sure you can imagine, because this protest is being organized by Anonymous, some lovely people have all ready taken issue with a peaceful protest against child abuse. From the blog of Lee Stranahan:

I have no idea whether the wildly punctuated comments are true or not. Nobody does.

What I know for sure is that unsourced rumors posted by anonymous people shouldn’t be part of the legal or media process.

I disagree with this 100%, because when something horrific like this does happen everyone should be protesting it. I don’t care if you agree with Anonymous or not. And a lot of people attending the rally will be driving a great distance, spending their hard-earned money on gas to get there, and standing in freezing weather to question why a man accused of raping a child and giving her an STD is out on bail. Thank God or Goddess or the dolphins or whatever you believe in for Anonymous. Anyone who speaks out against the abuse of children is a hero in my book.

Amen! How can you even question that a crime has been committed here? Lee Stranahan is an idiot, not that I think that was a question either. I’m glad that Anonymous and others are standing up against the worst type of abuse possible – the sexual abuse of an innocent child.

      Anonymous is my hero

Please don’t romanticise an ‘organisation’ that thinks nothing of posting the addresses and phone numbers of women and children online, and bullying them in real life.

I’m pretty sure you have no idea what you’re talking about…Just another American brainwashed my everyday media. You obviously think the government is going about this the right way? ha! pathetic. At least anonymous gives the PEOPLE a voice. Please inform yourself before opening your mouth…or in this case before typing.

I guess I am a little unsure about questioning the guy’s bail. They usually only deny bail is specific circumstances, including when the accused is a flight risk, has previously escaped or attempted to escape from prison, or has asserted an intent to fail to appear.

There is another reason that can be interpreted fairly broadly, which is that the accused presents an unusual threat to the community. Although this man is truly disgusting, he doesn’t actually present a threat to the community at large, since he isn’t accused of multiple counts or of raping children with whom he does not live.

It seems the protest is primarily because the accused is a vile human being rather than that the justice system is ignoring or covering up a crime. Which is fine, be wise the guy is revolting. But I don’t think the justice system fell down here as they did with the Steubenville case, which was an attempt to ignore a crime.

Since this time, the guy has broken his bail, was rearrested and is out again until September. WTF?!

Ugh that is a horrible human being. I hope something completely horrible happens to him, and I am not sorry for wishing that he gets what’s coming to him from someone in prison and some inmate makes him feel what its like to not want something done to you, yet be powerless to stop it, like he did to that child . Surgery for an std?! I hope this doesn’t mean that it can’t be cured. Poor child, born with something she shouldn’t even know exists. Ugh. What an asshole. I hope this haunts him every second of his life. Thank you Anonymous. Do more things like this!

The only problem with the protest is that they are convincting this young man without any proof! The mother did not give the police his name. She was at the home at the time the act occurred and did absolutely nothing to stop it! The police did not question neighbors- if they heard or saw anything- they arrested Tyler Graham based upon the grandmother’s word! And the grandmother was away on vacation at the time this occurred. As a mother, I can not understand how this happened or why the mother did nothing to stop it when she was home at the time. My heart goes out to the baby/ toddler, but I hope ALL the truth comes out!!

He attempted recontact with the mother who did not have a problem with it. Was rearrested and is out again until t least September. This is a horror story. And the mother has no problem with the guy! Arghhh!

Anal or genital warts may be transmitted during birth. The presence of wart-like lesions on the genitals of young children has been suggested as an indicator of sexual abuse. However, genital warts can sometimes result from autoinoculated by warts elsewhere on the body, such as from the hands.[8] It has also been reported from sharing of swimsuits, underwear, or bath towels, and from non-sexual touching during routine care such as diapering. Genital warts in children are less likely to be caused by HPV subtypes 6 and 11 than adults, and more likely to be caused by HPV types that cause warts elsewhere on the body (“cutaneous types”). Surveys of pediatricians who are child abuse specialists suggest that in children younger than 4 years old, there is no consensus on whether the appearance of new anal or genital warts, by itself, can be considered an indicator of sexual abuse. ….I suggest both the mother and the boyfriend get tested for genital warts.
