Stacy Fergusen, AKA, Fergie let her husband Josh Duhamel put a baby inside of her and now she can compete with the other pregnant people like Kim Kardashin and Kate Middleton for having the public and media scrutinize every once of weight she gains for the gestation of her fergalicious fetus. The happy couple, who married in 2009, tweeted the news out by a photoshopped picture of the parents as toddlers, with a super cute cat added to the mix.
This is good news for the singer because according to an appearance on the Rachel Ray show, everyone always assumes she is pregnant anyway if she gains two pounds or something. From US Magazine:
“[People ask if I'm pregnant] every time I fluctuate a few pounds. Like right now, I’m a couple pounds up,” the Black Eyed Peas singer said. “Sometimes I go a couple pounds down and I wear the clothes that are more fitted, but people kind of look at me because they’re expecting [that] it’s that time. We do hope for children and that will be coming up, but it’s not yet.”
The greatest fear we can all have about this celebrity baby news is that what if Fergie gets all crazy-pregnant and re-records that awful “My Humps” song but all about her baby bump like her tweet suggests and we have to listen to it while we are grocery shopping or stuck in traffic and listening to the radio? Horrifying. In case that should happen I have taken it upon myself to fix the lyrics for Fergie so she can attend to other things, like decorating the nursery or shopping for maternity clothing.
What you gon’ do with all that bump?
All that bump inside those maternity shirts that you bought from an upscale Beverly Hills maternity boutique?
I’ma get, get, get, get, you a photo of my ultrasound on my twitter feed,
Get you love-drunk off my bump that will be overexposed everywhere for the next nine months.
OK, so my song doesn’t rhyme, but if I have ear-wormed the original annoying song into your brain then my work here is done.
