Kourtney Kardashian welcomed her second baby (and future reality TV star), Penelope Disick, last July. Nearly six months later, the eldest Kardashian is letting photographers snap nearly every angle of her 44 lb weight loss — like you do. And don’t forget those multiple Kourtney Kardashian bikini changes!
Kourtney reportedly had a tough time with the weight this time around, as shedding those postpartum pounds took twice as long as when little Mason Disick was born. The reality star credits the work of Post-Baby Body Sculptor To The Stars, Tracy Anderson, for her weight loss.
But I have to say, it’s a little difficult to applaud weight loss when bikini pictures are coupled with copy like this:
With not a hint of mum tum in sight, the mother-of-two flaunted her enviably flat stomach and toned limbs as she relaxed poolside in Miami.
“Mum tum”? Sometimes I think the Daily Mail has a whole drawer full of these. Kind of like when they commented on Kim Kardashian‘s “muffin-top madness!” All a very specialized vocabulary for picking apart lady bodies. Postpartum mad libs: two parts alliteration, one part food metaphor.
No word yet on what Kourtney is no doubt looking to sell/plug/exploit with this Post-Baby Body Bikini Debut. Yet, given that Kim Kardashian is pregnant, a little sibling rivalry makes sense. After all, the only “news item” that can wrest press away from a celebrity pregnancy is the ever headline-grabbing “post-baby body.”
