Rachel Zoe Keeps Non-Toddler Soiled Clothes In Her Car Too

Rachel ZoeIn one of the few genuine “stars! They’re just like us!” moments, Rachel Zoe confirms that you aren’t alone in keeping an extra t-shirt, or seven, in your car in cases of mass barfing or spillage. The mother of 22-month-old Skyler Morrison has also resorted to the car as back-up wardrobe tactic. (But her shirts probably cost way more than yours)

Rachel Zoe gives People magazine her ultra sleek celebrity style tips since having a kid — and frankly, you and I could have written them:

“[I wear] more black because I tend to get things spilled on me all the time. I need my clothes to be more durable and a little less precious.”

In addition to opting for darker garments, pretty much a cornerstone in the transition to motherhood, Rachel Zoe also keeps garments in that handy automobile:

Adds Zoe, “I usually keep a backup something in the trunk of my car. I also think the beauty of being a designer is that I have my collection in my office and I have my collection in my home, so I tend to do a lot of quick changes and carry around baby wipes.”

Well, admittedly, that is one spot she has you beat. In what other profession can a working mother say “damn it! Not another YSL sequin jumpsuit!” and simply pull a fresh one from an adjacent rack?
