Mommyish Needs Winter/Spring 2013 Interns!

internAre you an avid Mommyish reader? Do you have much to say about parenting in the modern age? Do you think your two cents would be valued in modern parenting debates? Become a paid intern at Mommyish this winter and spring!

Witty readers based in the New York City area with a penchant for writing are encouraged to apply starting now! Interns will be given the opportunity to write pieces under their own byline, help construct slideshows, and perform some research and administrative tasks. Interns are also expected to provide general assistance to Mommyish editors. Experience with WordPress and a background in journalism are preferable. All candidates will need to be punctual, possess strong writing skills, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

If you don’t have children but still feel that you could be a valuable addition to the Mommyish staff, you are more than welcome to apply. We are looking for prospective candidates to start in December 2012. Send your resumes, cover letter, and three writing samples (pertaining to parenting) to Koa Beck at koa AT mommyish DOT com. All resumes must be in by November 30th for consideration.

Damn. Too bad I’m in Texas!

I almost live close enough, I’m in CT.

Besides, I’m not sure if Mommyish would be the best place to intern for a very gay gent XD

      • Koa Beck

You, sir, are entirely wrong about that.

      • Tea

And I find that extremely refreshing and appreciate the reply.

Why only New York? :( I think Mommyish should expand!

I have to agree with MasonsMommy, why New York only? In the modern world of telecommuting you would think a company like Mommyish that portrays itself as being hip and modern would be more open to a wider scope of writers. Why does Mommyish only want interns in the New York area?
