When Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries divorced back in October – a mere 72 days after tying the knot – Jenner immediately went on the talk-show circuit to promote her own book and discuss Kim's personal life. Nothing like exploiting your daughter's failed marriage to sell more copies of your book!

Most moms I know have body-image issues – that's just reality, as sad as it is – but they're not out there comparing their own curves to their daughters'. That's just weird. And oh so wrong. In one episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, Bruce Jenner surprises Kris with a family trip to Bora Bora. For once, Kris stops focusing on Khloe's weight and starts panicking about her own body (she even contemplates a little pre-trip surgery). How am I supposed to strut around in a bikini when my daughters are, too, she asks Bruce. If you must have this thought, keep it to yourself, lady!

The very nature of the Kardashian empire is exploitative but hey, it's their choice. What does bug me, however, is that Jenner always gives off the impression that she'd sell her daughters' bodies and souls for her own 15 minutes. The latest goss is that Jenner may have encouraged a young Kim Kardashian to make that sex tape with Ray J back in the day. Gross.

There's an unspoken rule that you're not allowed to insult your in-laws to your partner. Ditto parents who might not like their child's husband/boyfriend/partner/baby daddy. Complain quietly to your closest girlfriend over dinner if you must, then put on a smile and suck it up. Jenner is forever dissing Kourtney's beau Scott Disick, which isn't such a smart move – especially now that there's a baby involved. Clearly she didn't read the handbook.
