Harper Seven Beckham made it to the top of InStyle‘s Hottest Celebs Under 25 at only eight weeks old, even if she does deign to wear converses. Yet, if you can manage to keep all eyes on you at New York City Fashion Week while sharing a photograph with Victoria Beckham, then perhaps that is a reason to consider a career in modeling — at 9 months old. Harper Seven may not even be walking yet, but the famous tot has been offered some modeling work in what is probably the most predictable chain of events ever.
Having been photographed already by the paparazzi in an array of outfits all over the world, Harper has been offered a contract with UK company My1styears.com to model their goods. In a letter to the baby girl — not the parents — the company attempts to woo the infant with some praise. She may not be able to read, but don’t tell them that:
“Both your parents are fashion icons, and we can see no reason why you shouldn’t start your own career in the fashion industry even at your young age. Due to child labor laws we cannot negotiate a contract or salary directly with you, that is why your Mummy and Daddy have been copied in on this letter. We are happy to speak with them about your fee; however, we are prepared to pay you a significant amount to be the face of our new range.”
It’s unclear whether the Beckhams are even considering this offer, or whether they plan to just put her on the fast-track to Gucci spokesmanship come her toddler years.
