Frances Bean Breaks From Quiet Courtney Love-Free Life To Ask That Twitter Ban Her Mother

frances bean cobainWhatever scars or mistakes you fear you might be saddling your children with, chances are they cannot possibly compare to the illusive and somewhat concerning upbringing of Frances Bean Cobain. While Courtney Love does not tout herself as Mother of The Year, the public’s interest in her 19-year-old daughter usually fluctuates somewhere between simple curiosity and the sheer wonderment of how a train wreck like Courtney could have raised such a functional young lady. The truth is most of us don’t know much about Frances because despite being Kurt Cobain‘s daughter, she appears to be the anti-rock star’s daughter —  maintaining a private life. Her moments speaking directly to the press can be counted on one hand — or perhaps now two — as the teenager has spoken out about her mother’s questionable Twitter tirade.

This week, Gawker reported that Courtney went on a Twitter frenzy asserting that Dave Grohl, former drummer of Nirvana and now lead singer of the Foo Fighters, had a sexual relationship with Frances. This would be incredibly seedy given that there are photographs of the two of them walking the MTV Music Video Awards red carpet in the early 90′s. Grohl would have been in his early 20s and Frances is being held by her mother — as a baby.

Grohl’s publicist has since responded to the allegations with a statement not from his client, but from Frances. Gawker reports:

While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy.

Twitter should ban my mother.

Many a teen would love to have Twitter or Facebook simply delete their parent’s profile for myriad reasons — usually pertaining to excessive photo comments or maybe even one too many “likes.” But given what Frances has perhaps endured in her upbringing, including the deaths of multiple pets due to irresponsible pill consumption and a restraining order, Twitter should perhaps take this kid up on her plea.
